Uganda will host the 9th E-learning meeting for Africa

Uganda will host the 9th E -Learning African conferences on information and communication Technology for the development, Education and training.

The meeting which is scheduled to commence on the 28th - 30th May in Kampala, Uganda at the common wealth resort Speke Hotel Munyonyo on the shores of Lake Victoria, will explore how technology revolutionizing learning and training across the continent can led to the improvement in the trainings being conducted by the various training institutions in Africa , the eLearning Africa 2014 will bring together policy experts, educational professionals and business leaders to tackle this and other topics.

Hosted by the Republic of Uganda, the conference's wide-ranging plenaries, sessions and exhibitions will showcase the inspiring stories, innovations and research that make up today's complex picture of ICT for development, education and training in Africa.

The E-Learning conference will run under the theme "Opening Frontiers to the Future" the meeting is predictable to bring together about 1500 ICT technologist and Educational specialists across the continent.

"Many African countries are seeking to spread their economies and stimulate sectors such as tourism and finance, but skills shortages are preventing them E-Learning will allow more and more African countries to easily train the next generation of in-demand workers". Says Rebecca Stromeyer, founder of eLearning African in the press statement.
